Dealer Registration Process Guidelines

Steps

Step 1: Portal Login & Basic Information

Go to the food management portal, select the 'Dealer' option, and sign in with your NID and password. Select your existing 'Food Grain License' to start the application, where the license number and issue date will be auto-filled. Then enter the business location and the applicant's marital status (spouse information, if applicable).

Step 2: Dealer & Shop Details

Select whether you are a public representative or a person with a physical disability. Fill in the shop details such as location, length, width, height, capacity, whether the floor is cemented, and whether there is a signboard. Also specify the truck details and the performance of the last three years (allocated and lifted quantities).

Step 3: Document Upload

Upload the required scanned documents (bank solvency, income tax return, shop ownership or rental deed) and click the 'Next' button.

Step 4: Done

Preview all the information you have filled in, tick the consent checkbox, and click the 'Submit' button. Upon successful submission, you will receive an application number on screen and via mobile SMS.

Process After Submission

Authority Review & Approval The Assistant/Upazila/District Food Controller will verify your application. For OSS dealers, the relevant District Food Controller gives final approval; for Food-Friendly dealers, the Upazila Food Controller gives final approval.

Allocation Received Once approval is complete and the authority issues an allocation, an "Allocation Notice" will appear on your portal and you will receive an SMS on your mobile.

Demand / Indent Entry Log in to the dealer portal, go to the "Add Indent" option, and submit the demand with the requested quantity and the name and NID number of the goods collector. The status will then show "Payment Pending".

A-Challan Submission Complete the payment at the bank, enter the A-Challan number on the portal, and click the "Verify" button. Once verification is successful, click the "Submit Challan" button.

DO Print Once the challan submission is approved, the dealer can download and print the Delivery Order (DO) from the indent list to lift the goods.

Required Documents

  • Bank Solvency Certificate - Copy of the bank solvency certificate.
  • Income Tax Return Certificate - Income tax return or TIN certificate.
  • Shop Ownership Deed - Ownership deed, if the shop is self-owned.
  • Rental Agreement Copy (Optional) - Photocopy of the rental agreement, if the shop is rented.
